What Falling In Love Could Feel Like

I’m admittedly a sensitive human. Not in the uncontrollable sense, but more in the way that I feel every emotion deeply and can sense the feelings of people I care about by just looking at them. It’s a blessing and a curse, and mostly the latter because it’s often overwhelming to feel so much. But this article isn’t about a curse. This article is about the blessing in sensitivity and how to identify the cues in body, mind and soul that led me to understand love on a whole other level recently. My hope is that this list can be a guide for when you can’t think straight due to the overwhelm of emotions you might be feeling towards yourself and the other person in front of you. So if emotional clarity is what you seek, read on. ↓

Falling in love could feel like…

My hope is that this article helps you realise what you have in the person you feel so much for. If most or even all of the above bullets are true, don’t throw it away and don’t distance yourself from that one person who has all of that and more for you. You won’t want to miss out on experiencing love as it was intended in the context of a once in a lifetime connection… So if you think you might have that kind of love based on the above, don’t brush away its gravitas, or you’ll forever regret not following your heart where it wants to go. After all, we all deserve that rare sensation only a soulmate can provide to finally feel earthly completion.

Hearts & Pieces

Raw nerves, exposed hearts,
Time bends, reality parts.

Laughter chimes, tears fall free,
Walls crumble, souls agree.

Words unneeded, eyes convey,
Home, just another touch away.

Regret lurks in silence kept,
Missed chances, hearts can’t forget.

Feel deeply, act boldly,
For time marches, coldly.
